For this list, we’re going to focus on the ladies, and countdown the The Top 100 Hits Of The Ladies Of the 80′s. There are only two rules: all the songs had to hit the Billboard Top Ten, and they’re all sung by women … whether solo or with a group. Ready to jog your memory?

At #63 is … “Telefone” by Sheena Easton. The second Sheena song on the list comes from my favorite Sheena album, 1983′s Best Kept Secret (which also included the faboo “Almost Over You, Devil In A Fast Car” and a terrific cover of “Just One Smile”) Although 1984′s A Private Heaven is a very close second. Anyway, “Telefone” hit #9 in November 1983.
