Ellen will host next year’s Academy Awards. She previously hosted back in 2007. I’m fine with this choice. I thought she did a great job last time.
But Raven has come out. Congrats!

Channing Tatum is some kind of “wolf elf warrior thing.”

A few weeks ago, Jesse Tyler and longtime boyfriend Justin Mikita got married, so let’s close out our week with JT by toasting the happy couple!

Now, presenting … THE TOP 40 HORROR FILMS OF THE 80’S! Journey with me back to the birth of the Dead Teenager movie (actually, that began in the 70’s, so I guess it would be the Afterbirth Of The Dead Teenager Movie), the last gasps of the Italian Horror Masters, and the franchises that still continue today. Yes, your Freddy, Jason, and Michael will be represented, but I’m also going to pay tribute to the obscurities that deserve to be seen. At #18 is … Terror Train.
Jamie Lee Curtis starred in three horror films in 1980, and you’ll see them all in the Top 20, starting with the tale of sad Kenny, who only wanted to get laid, and instead was the victim of a cruel prank that sent him to the looney bin. Is he the one who’s offing everyone on a cross-country train ride? In addition to the usual slasher goodness, Terror Train also features David Copperfield, the film debut of D.D. Winters (later known as Vanity ), and the always smoldering Hart Bochner (who you may recall is the #2 Hottest Hunk Of The 80’s).
Congrats to lazycrockett, who was the first to correctly that yesterday’s Pixuzzle™ © ® was Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels.
