More “Pitch Perfect”: The Goddess Elizabeth Banks, Anna Camp, Skylar Astin, and More!

Our interview series with the cast of Pitch Perfect, the cheeky comedy about collegiate a cappella competitions, continues with gay icon nominee Elizabeth Banks, who plays a competition commentator (though she also co-produced the film), director Jason Moore (a Tony nominee for directing Avenue Q on Broadway), actress Anna Camp, cute-as-a-button actor Skylar Astin, and raunchy actresses Ester Dean (who plays a lesbian chanteuse named Cynthia Rose) and Hana Mae Lee (who plays the suspiciously quiet Lilly).

First, Elizabeth Banks and Jason Moore discuss the most energetic actors on set and dubstep versions of The Sound of Music numbers.

Next, your new crush Skylar Astin and the adorable Anna Camp discuss whether they relate to their characters, who are — respectively — very geeky and very bossy.

And last, Ester Dean and Hana Mae Lee basically grope each other for three minutes straight. I should’ve expected this of Dean, since she was a primary songwriter of Rihanna’s “S&M.”
