A few years back we posted a list of some of our favorite Irish actors for St. Patrick’s Day, and it contained pretty much who you’d expect – Liam, Pierce, Colin F., Cillian, Daniel D.L. , Jonathan R.M., an Aidan (Quinn), but enough time has has passed that we have a whole new bumper crop to celebrate. Including another Aidan!

31-year-old Jamie grew up in the suburbs of Belfast, Northern Ireland, and is the second cousin (twice removed) of Greer Garson. Along with a very successful modeling career, he’s flourishing on the big and small screen, with roles on Once Upon A Time, The Fall and he’s currently filming one of the most hotly anticipated spectacles of next year, Fifty Shades Of Grey.
The first baby born in Ireland in 1981 (at 12:01 AM on January 1st), Jonas is best known for the three seasons he spent as the title character in the BBC series Robin Hood. He went on to bare all in the film Book Of Blood, and this summer he’ll star with Tom Cruise in the sci-fi epic Edge Of Tomorrow.
The out 37-year-old Andrew was born in Dublin, and from an early age made his mark on the stage, both in Britain and the U.S., winning two Laurence Olivier Awards and a Drama Desk League nomination. His biggest success so far is as Moriarity in the BBC series Sherlock Holmes, for which he won a BAFTA, but his star is just beginning to shine.
41-year-old Jason was born in Dublin, and starred in such Brit classics as Monarch Of The Glen and The Bill, before heading to the U.S., where he starred in a string of short-lived series, including Vegas, Life On Mars and Terra Nova. While starring in another one-season wonder The Agency, he met and married co-star Paige Turco. That’s right, he’s married to April from TMNT: The Secret Of The Ooze.
28-year-old Colin was born in Northern Ireland, and made a memorable TV debut as Our Gay John on The Catherine Tate Show. Following another noteworthy role on Doctor Who, Colin nabbed the lead role in the BBC series Merlin, in which he starred for five seasons, and brought classic HoYay with co-star Bradley James.
