We have another date to add to your summer gay TV calendar. On July 25, Being Human is set to make its debut on BBC America, with out actor Russell Tovey dealing with the the struggles of being a twentysomething … while also being a werewolf.

While you wait for the debut, you can check out Michael‘s reaction to the premiere. If that’s not enough to get you hyped, the series promises plenty of "nude transforming scenes" for the AfterElton.com Hot 100 pick.

Meanwhile, I wonder if this offers any further clues to when Torchwood: Children of Earth will air. We know it will be airing sometime in July and doesn’t that sound like a good opportunity to promote BBC America’s next sci-fi import?

Update: BBC America announced more good news for gay fans of BBC science fiction. The network will air the current season of Doctor Who, which consists of five specials and features the swan songs for both producer Russell T. Davies and tenth Doctor David Tennant,

Fan favorites from Davies’ run will also return in the specials, including John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness. The first special, “The Next Doctor”, will air on June 27 with the second, “Planet of the Dead” airing in July.
