Of course people are betting on who will step into the lead role on Doctor Who once Matt Smith leaves. I have to admit some of those bets seem more like wishful thinking than an actual bet — unless people really think The Walking Dead would be willing to kill off The Governor to let David Morrissey play the Doctor.

Doctor Who, "The Other Doctor"It would make “The Other Doctor” a bit interesting to rewatch, tho.

Alyssa Milano will take over as host of Project Runway All Stars when it returns for a third season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Vulture talked with Erika Slezak to get the soap legend’s take on how Mad Men has been depicting Megan Draper‘s experience as a soap actress (who got to play a dual role) in the 60s.

I don’t want to get into the details of last night’s shocking Game of Thrones yet, but Buzzfeed  asked George R.R. Martin in advance about the scene, “When that book came out, I got some amazing letters from people telling how they threw the book into the fireplace and they would never read me again and they hated me. But then they went out the next week and bought another copy of the book, and they love me now. We may get some similar reactions. I don’t recommend anyone throw their television set into the fireplace. It could be very dangerous.”

By now, it seems pretty official, save for a press release as Community creator Dan Harmon tweeted that he would be returning to the comedy he created.

Community The band is back together. Just don’t ask about Pierce.

Judy Greer has joined the cast of an FX comedy pilot a about a married couple (Greer’s on-screen husband will be Ben & Kate‘s Nat Faxon) who open their relationship when the wife loses interest in sex.

We were finally able to get an official answer that’s been shaking the nation to the core. E! news talked to someone who worked on the new season of Arrested Development who contradicted the speculation about Portia De Rossi having had plastic surgery. We can all rest easy now. I’m still workingup  my energy to get to the third episode of the new season. Is De Rossi’s screen time really so insignificant that it’s more interesting to discuss her face than the funny things she does?

The Writers Guild of America compiled a list of the 101 Best Written TV Series. Go ahead, take a look and make your list of all the shows that were wronged by the WGA’s list.

In ratings news the second episode of Does Someone Have to Go? lost 23% of the viewers that checked it out, restoring some of my faith in humanity.

Listings

The Goodwin Games (Fox) 8:30 PM ET
Who’s that mystery man that Jimmy‘s been hanging around with? Chloe worries that he might be one of Jimmy’s criminal contacts. Naturally, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a bit of slashwink but that’s the case with everything.

The Fosters (ABC Family) 9:00 PM ET
ABC Family continues to be one of the most diverse programmers around (you might say its got different kinds of families) with this Jennifer Lopez-produced drama about a lesbian couple and their family of foster children. I’m keeping my fingers crossed let’s hope the drama is more subtle than the part about the foster family named the Fosters part, especially for the channel that gave us the wonderful Switched at Birth.

The FostersThe Fosters

Felt (Logo) 10:00 PM ET
“An old couple learn new tricks.” I’m keeping my fingers crossed that means something that can only be depicted with puppets, whatever that would be.

Newlyweds: The First Year (Bravo) 10:00 PM ET
Things move on to five months into the marriages as things everyone starts thinking they wondered if the honeymoon is over a little too soon as mundanity gets even worse.

Teen Wolf (MTV) 10:00 PM ET
After a promising first season, Teen Wolf grew by leaps and bounds in the second season, especially when it came to delivering on the promise of Sterek. Teen Wolf‘s third season is finally here. While we’re hoping this will turn out to be the season of Sterek, at least we know Danny will finally be getting some action. But maybe the Sterek fans can hope for a double-date?

Teen Wolf's twin wolvesAnd you know we’re getting twinwolves this season…

Revolution (NBC) 10:00 PM ET
Will the first season finale offer as much slashwink as the midseason finale? I’m too far behind on this one to predict.

Push Girls (Sundance) 10:00 PM ET
When I head about it, I loved the idea of Sundance’s reality show about a group of disabled women. Then I watched it and it turned out to be frustrating in the way a lot of reality shows are and dull the way well-meaning documentary shows tend to be. Still, I’m glad to see it getting a second season, even if I’m particularly excited to watch it.

Warehouse 13 (Syfy) 10:00 PM ET
A vigilante making use of an artifact reunites one of Warehouse 13‘s most enduring couples as H.G. returns (with some added Tuc Watkins!) to help with the investigation. Okay, we probably won’t get more than the intense looks, but we haven’t even gotten that all season.

Warehouse 13, "Instinct"

Mistresses (ABC) 10:00 PM ET
I passed when the original version of Mistresses aired stateside, mostly because it didn’t look like it could compare to the miraculous levels of campiness reached by (earlier BBC America soaps) Footballers’ Wive$ or Mile High (still the worst show I’ve ever loved to pieces) but Devious Maid doesn’t debut for a few more weeks, meaning there’s a vital gap in campy new TV dramas.

The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS) 11:35 PM ET
Neil Patrick Harris is chatting with Dave tonight.

What will you be watching tonight? Please share in the comments!
