EW reports that not only has Oprah gotten the first interview with Lindsay Lohan after rehab. OWN has signed Lohan up for an eight episode reality series that will follow her attempts to restart her career.
When Parks & Recreation returns, the only plan for Chris Pratt‘s newly-buff physique is to refer to it with a joke. It sounds like there’s still time for more than that, “Maybe we’ll do a Fight Club thing where some of the scenes will be Andy looking like he normally does and some of the scenes will be (Andy’s alter ego) Burt Macklin looking like he currently does”
Anne Heche will appear in a multi-episode arc of The Michael J. Fox Show, according to EW. She’ll play a professional rival to Fox’s character. I hope this ends Heche’s streak of bad roles
Raul Esparza will be a series regular on the upcoming season of Law & Order: SVU. Esparza debuted last season as ADA Rafael Barba. Let’s hope that L&O doesn’t get in the way of more appearances on Hannibal.
Based on the jobs we see them do, in which neighborhoods should we expect NYC TV characters to live?
Even though it dominated twitter, ratings for Sharknado were only a little better than the average Syfy original movie.
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy Marathon (Bravo) starting at 6:00 AM ET
Bravo owes a huge debt to Queer Eye. Not only was it a breakout hit for the channel that helped get it noticed, it also provided the template for the network’s direction with its mix of personal drama — admittedly not the kind of drama Bravo is currently known for — and style. The influence of the “Fab Five” led to shows like Top Chef, Flipping Out, Tabatha Takes Over and It’s a Brad, Brad World. Today it’s been ten years since the show debuted and Bravo isn’t forgetting about the show (for once), celebrating the occasion with twelve episodes.
Switched at Birth (ABC Family) 8:00 PM ET
What’s the next stop for the super-busy Allison Scagliotti? An appearance as an Army medic who served in Afghanistan with Ty, leaving Bay feeling like a high school girl whose street art is unimpressive in comparison. Good thing Bay isn’t comparing herself to someone who hunts down supernatural artifacts.
The Fosters (ABC Family) 9:00 PM ET
Yeah, yeah, so Jesus is angry with his sister. Meanwhile Liam — whoever he is — is back to bother Callie. Those are all small potatoes to Jude‘s bringing his friend Connor home to work on a class project together. Meanwhile, series creators Peter Paige and Bradley Bredweg will be live tweeting during the East Coast broadcast and give you a real-time commentary track.
Major Crimes (TNT) 9:00 PM ET
Everyone is getting into the live tweeting business as the cast of Major Crimes (including Graham Patrick Martin, Phillip P. Keene and Jonathan Del Arco) follow along with the show as the team works to solve the disappearance of a child with gender dysphoria. And since the press release from TNT doesn’t specify, I’m guessing different cast members are livetweeting for audiences watching the east coast and west coast broadcasts
Below Deck (Bravo) 10:00 PM ET
So far, this show had too little Dave, considering he was my reason for tuning in. I’m hoping that will change since it’s his birthday in tonight’s episode. I’m already dreading the other storyline, which sees the ship chartered by five single guys who want to find some hot women to party with. The episode is titled, “Dude, that’s a dude, dude.” That just screams “Brace yourselves.” Or record tomorrow’s repeat and wait to see if there’s a GLAAD alert about the episode.
Teen Wolf (MTV) 10:00 PM ET
Oh. Wow. What was that fire thing? Is that why Stiles and Lydia are hitting the road together tonight. Or maybe they’re looking to fix the horrible horrible situation where someone who is not Stiles is taking Derek‘s shirt off and nursing his wounds.
Under the Dome (CBS) 10:00 PM ET
As if there weren’t enough reason for the the residents of Miller’s Crossing to indulge in paranoia and suspicion, a strain of meningitis should do the job. Did I mention the part about dwindling medical supplies?
