The ratings for Duck Dynasty are down 40% from a year ago, but it can’t be blamed on Phil Robertson‘s homophobic and racist comments. Ratings were sliding before Robertson’s infamous GQ profile. Now I’m looking back at that interview and wondering if those comments were an attempt to drum up some publicity.

Aaron Paul says he’s in talks to join the cast of Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul. I have to admit, I’m intrigued at the idea of fleshing out Jesse’s “Capt’n Cook” days.

Matthew Perry‘s Odd Couple reboot hasĀ found its second cast member, reuniting Perry with his Go On co-star Sarah Baker. She’ll play the assistant to Perry’s Oscar.

TVLand loves its cast reunions, so it’s not a big surprise that Ethan Suplee has been added to the cast of upcoming comedy Jennifer Falls, joining his My Name Is Earl cast mate Jaime Pressly.

VH1 has cancelled dramedy Single Ladies as well as sketch comedy show Stevie TV. I’ll miss Stevie TV, I grew to enjoy Stevie Ryan‘s various imitations and her version of Lady Gaga could make me laugh with just four words.

Oz and 30 Rock alum Dean Winters will star in the upcoming CBS drama Battle Creek, from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan.

EW reports that Soleil Moon Frye is joining the cast of ABC’s summer guilty pleasure Mistresses when it returns for its second season.

David Tennant and Matt Smith may have moved on from Doctor Who but the adventures of the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors continue in two separate comic series.

Dylan McDermott has been picked for a lead role, in Kevin Williamson‘s CBS pilot. The series deals with a department of the LAPD that focuses on stalking cases, with McDermott playing a Detective who transferred from New York.

Sadly, Hannibal had a disappointing return, pulling ratings comparable to Dracula. At least it didn’t lose viewers from last season. Enlisted didn’t do very well without a Bones lead-in, either.

The second season premiere of Vikings was watched by 3.6 million viewers. That’s down significantly from the 13.1 million that watched the series’ debut, but that was boosted by a lead-in from hit mini-series The Bible.

Nick was happy vaguely threatening and watching people squirm but now he’s just openly making threats and demands. Today, he’s planning on throwing those threats in Sonny‘s direction.

Switched at Birth (ABC Family) 8:00 PM ET
This is a show that includes people who have been a part of High School Musical, Dancing with the Stars and Glee, so why not put all that dance experience into an episode of dance numbers?

Lea Thompson and Alec Mapa in "Switched at Birth"From the look of things, Alec Mapa gets to put his Fosse on.

How I Met Your Mother (CBS) 8:00 PM ET
As we get closer to the wedding, everyone is in an awful mood as Lily and Robin are fighting, Barney can’t pick a suit while the gang gets ready to watch a movie Ted has forbidden (really? Was Ted possessed by the spirit of TedMosbyIsAJerk.com?)

Almost Human (Fox) 8:00 PM ET
For the season finale (already?) Kennex and Dorian search for a serial killer who is copying a killer who was arrested by Kennex’s dad. The episode is titled “Strawman”. If that’s the killer’s nickname, I can’t imagine what could earn that name.

Keith Urban and Michael Ealy in "Almost Human"I’m hoping for at least one more discussion about which of Kennex’s things Dorian can insert his finger?

The Fosters (ABC Family) 9:00 PM ET
It looks like I’ve got another episode of yelling, “Jude gets sunshine, unicorns, Colin and nail polish!” at the TV. Why? Tonight, Jude and Callie‘s bio dad shows up just in time to complicate their adoption.

Bates Motel (A&E) 9:00 PM ET
I’m not sure anyone knew what to expect out of A&E’s Psycho prequel. I doubt anyone predicted a Twin Peaks-inspired tale of a teen with mental illness in a very strange town. The first season was addictive, fueled by performances from a stellar cast. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that continues into the second season.

RuPaul’s Drag Race (Logo) 9:00 PM ET
A good drag queen should know the greats that came before them. Tonight, the dolls demonstrate that trait with lip synch performances that pay tribute to RuPaul’s Drag Race history.

Being Human (Syfy) 9:00 PM ET
Now that we’re in the final six episodes, it’s a wild time for Josh, Aiden, Sally and Nora. At its best, Being Human has been willing to shake up the staus quo and the closing chapters of Being Human kick off with Sally traveling back in time and managing to stop her own murder.

Archer (FX) 10:00 PM ET
Do you like it when Sterling ends up in pain? Tonight looks like a good episode as he decides he wants to get Kenny Loggins to perform with Cherlene. Would you be surprised to find out that, when his bodyguards are around, getting too close to Loggins is quite the danger zone? That’s a surprising discovery for Sterling.

Teen Wolf (MTV) 10:00 PM ET
The Yukimura family history is on tap for tonight’s episode, including the revelation that Mrs. Yukimura is much older than she appears….

Chozen (FX) 10:30 PM ET
Tired of just being a disruptive presence on campus, Chozen makes the University his criminal base of operations.

Tonight’s show includes a feature on “Throwing Shade”, I’d like to think that’s a reference to the hilarious podcast hosted by TBL-faves Bryan Safi and Erin Gibson..
