In an interview with NPR, creator Shonda Rhimes says she doesn’t expect Scandal to have a long run like Grey’s Anatomy since she has an end in mind for Scandal. “I feel like there is a finite amount of Scandal to be told … I can see where the end point is. And I don’t think I’m going to change that.”

Meanwhile, Scandal‘s audience is heavily female. However, Vulture argues why more men should be watching with comparisons to guy-skewing shows like 24, Mad Men and Breaking Bad. I like the comparison between Cyrus and Walter White but I don’t find James anywhere as sympathetic as Skyler.

Speaking of Breaking Bad, Bob Odenkirk spoke with IGN about the upcoming spin-off Better Call Saul, which might not be just a prequel, it might also reveal what happened to Saul after the events of the Breaking Bad finale.

NBC is developing a comedy to star Anne Heche. Heche is working with Hung creator Colette Burson to make a show where Heche will play a Beauty Department Sales Manager figuring out reationships. When will TV executives realize that Heche should be starring in a soap opera about an aging magical pixie girl and her evil twin?

Grimm has cast Oz and Fringe alum Kirk Acevedo for a guest-role, according to The Wrap. (Does Acevedo still have those incredible abs?) The same episode will also have Emily Rios of The Bridge and Breaking Bad.

NBC has ordered a special Holiday edition of Hollywood Game Night.

Should Mass Effect be made into TV next great space opera? I’d say it would make a good setting but trying to turn the video game trilogy into a TV show is a recipe for disaster.

This week’s episode sees the Five-0 team trying to care for Mary‘s baby while juggling their investigation of an ATF agent’s murder. I can’t think of another way to explain that plot.

Haven (Syfy) 9:00 PM ET
Leave it to the hapless residents of Haven to spend episodes antagonizing over the idea of Audrey needing to kill Nate to end the troubles, only for that to be reversed just when Audrey and Nate finally accepted the necessity of the move.
