Fox News found itself in the position of issuing a denial to Fox News over a report claiming that Megyn Kelly would be taking over Sean Hannity‘s time slot. Fox previously announced that Kelly would be getting a show in prime time when she returned from maternity leave, but also signed new deals for its prime time hosts, leaving the question of where she would appear in the prime time lineup.

Kathy Griffin will play herself in an episode of the upcoming TV Land comedy Kirstie, according to TheWrap. In an incident that Griffin says mirrors her own experience, she’ll move into the apartment next to the one where Kirstie Alley‘s character lives. Unhappy at having a more famous celebrity next door, she plots to get Griffin to find a new home.

Workaholics star Adam DeVine will be appearing on Modern Family this season, TV Guide says. DeVine will play a nanny Gloria hires to help take care of baby… er, the only name I can remember is Fulgencio. Sorry, Jay.

With its final episodes about to air, The A.V. Club looks at the structure of Breaking Bad and how it succeeded as a “clockwork universe” drama — one where every action and character has a purpose and function in taking the story to its conclusion. A common weakness of the clockwork universe is that the characters often end up with the personalities of cogs but Breaking Bad has overcome that challenge. All I can say is, don’t get me so excited about the finale that it can’t help but be a letdown.

The View (ABC) Check local listing
It’s “Ode to Joy Behar” day with appearances by Mario Cantone, Meredith Vieira, Regis Philbin, Joan Rivers, Alan Alda, Susie Essman and Tony Bennett. Last week when Joy talked with John Fugelsang she couldn’t discuss who was there to say goodbye, so I’m thinking there may still be a few surprise guests.

Days of Our Lives (NBC) Check local listings
Sami gives Sonny advice on dealing with his mother. Meanwhile, THERE’S A CATFIGHT BREWING AT THE DiMERA MANSION. I need to run to the embroidery shop and see how quickly they can make a “Team Kristen” flag. This cannot go without a liveblog so be here starting at 1PM Eastern!

The actor-turned-musician and his band pay tribute to Professor Longhair with this performance of Longhair’s Live on the Queen Mary album, even performing in the same room where the album was recorded.

America’s Next Top Model (CW) 9:00 PM ET
Yikes. Tyra has certainly found bonkers ways to torture her aspiring models but expecting them to climb down the side of a building like it were a runway? Suddenly, I’m happy that Virgg quit, I wouldn’t want to see how that would affect her in her fragile emotional state.

America's Next Top ModelDon’t look down… give the audience a fierce look…. can’t do both in this case.

Comedy Bang! Bang! (IFC) 10:00 PM ET
Zoe Saldana shows up this week for a bit of that Comedy Bang! Bang! weirdness.

Strike Back (Cinemax) 10:00 PM ET
Cinemax’s high-octane action drama returns for a third season as Dougray Scott and Robson Green join the cast, as Scott and Stonebridge find their leave from Section 20 ending abruptly.

Continuum (Syfy) 10:00 PM ET
Television may be in an age of antiheroes but Continuum has become compelling as I try to figure out where its characters fall. We have Keira who has the general traits of a hero, but who has been fooled into believing that an evil and oppressive society is worth fighting to restore. After last week, Julian is a misunderstood villain and, surprisingly, the easiest one to categorize. Then there’s Alec, who is probably the most relatable character — until you realize he has the potential of helping create the terrible world Kiera comes from. Last week, we saw Kiera at her least heroic as she participated in the torture of Julian and almost killed him. This week, Julian’s followers go after her, seeking vengeance. I can’t wait to see how this changes how we view these characters.

The White Queen (Starz) 10:00 PM ET
HBO has Game of Thrones, which took inspiration from the War of the Roses (among other power struggles), now Starz has an adaptation of Philippa Gregory‘s book that looks at the War of the Roses from the perspective of three women who schemed to ensure their family ended up sitting on the throne. As a bit of an easter egg, I figure I’d mention to the nerds that Shameless writer Emma Frost was in charge of bringing the novel to screen.

Primeval: New World Marathon (Syfy) 5:00 PM ET
Sadly, once the world got tired of watching time-displaced dinosaurs in the UK, it turned out they weren’t more interested in seeing time-displaced dinosaurs in Canada. Thus, Syfy is airing all the unaired episodes of Primeval: New World this weekend.

Clear History (HBO) 9:00 PM ET
There may not be a new season of Curb You Enthusiasm coming but how about a movie where Larry David plays a man who angrily quits his start-up just before all those stock options are about to be worth a lot of money. This is a Larry David character so he calmly handles it with class.

Reading, Writing & Romance (Hallmark) 9:00 PM ET
Hallmark must have been expecting that people would be in the middle of feeling some Ugly Betty nostalgia after Devious Maids‘s little reference (Anna Ortiz‘s character’s real name was revealed to be Suarez) because this week they’ve got a movie with Eric Mabius. He plays an out-of-work actor who decides to settle for a job as a high school teacher, only to get his big break after he’s settled in to his new life and fallen for a fellow teacher.

Being HumanBeing Human

Being Human (BBC America) 10:00 PM ET
A woman named Natasha shows up in Honolulu Heights and tells Hal she has a way for him to get control of his hunger. As they say, if it sounds too good to be true it’s probably some sort of evil, twisted trap.

Fox Fall Preview (Fox) starting at Midnight ET
Fox is airing six-minute previews of its new programs once the ADHD block ends, if you want a longer look at (in order) Sleepy Hollow, Dads, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Enlisted or Almost Human, late night Saturday night is for you.
