HBO made it official and cancelled Family Tree as well as Hello Ladies, which will get a wrap-up special. The prospects for Getting On are more optimistic, as the nursing comedy is seen as a likely candidate for a second season.
Rob Corddry will appear in the upcoming Hawaii Five-0 episode with aspects determined by viewers, according to EW. He’ll play a former classmate of Chin who has grown up to be a “humorously sleazy” magician.
TNT has picked up Transporter: The Series, which puts Chris Vance in the role played by Jason Statham in movie theatres. Vance should be a familiar face to TNT viewers, having appeared in a handful of Gayzoli Rizzoli & Isles episodes.
Vance lives up to the sexy expectations for the character.
The Disney Channel has yet to air an episode of Girl Meets World but it has already gotten a full season order.
Pam Dawber is returning to TV according to TV Guide. Even better, she’s set to appear on The Crazy Ones reuniting her with her Mork & Mindy co-star Robin Williams. She’ll play a travel writer who captures Simon attention.

Angela Lansbury says she was relieved to hear that NBC’s proposed Murder She Wrote reboot didn’t happen. “I have too much admiration for [Octavia Spencer, who was set to star in the reboot] to saddle her with the awful responsibility of having to bring that title into a different venue.”
