Syfy’s upcoming drama Helix (from Battlestar Galatica producer Ronald D. Moore) has picked Billy Campbell for a leading role, according to Deadline. Campbell will play a divorced doctor who is part of a team investigating the outbreak of a deadly disease.

Billy CampbellI’m keeping my fingers crossed this means Billy Campbell will finally be on good show.

Pan Am fave Karine Vanasse will appear in a multi-episode arc on Revenge as a woman from Daniel‘s past. If they can find an excuse to get Vanasse to sing “Deutschland Uber Alles” again, I’ll be happy.

The Hollywood Reporter digs into the behind-the-scenes drama at Community and series creator Dan Harmon. It’s an interesting peek, at the very least.

Abby Huntsman, daughter of Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman, is joining the panel of MSNBC’s The Cycle, replacing S.E. Cupp. I’d like to think this means The Cycle has a chance at being watchable again.

Is it time we noticed Mark Gatiss is at the center of nerd obsessions from the UK? The writer/actor has written six episodes of Doctor Who and appeared in two. He also co-created Sherlock, where he plays Mycroft Holmes. Now, EW reports that he’s been cast for a secret role on Game of Thrones.

Suddenly, I no longer feel stupid for turning on captions when watching BBC shows.

The return of Whose Line Is it Anyway? was watched by 2.9 million viewers, giving the CW its biggest debut since Arrow. It was also drew the most viewers in the younger demo for a premiere since September 2011, so the show succeeded with a wide audience. Meanwhile, dating game show Perfect Score retained only 890 thousand or those 2.9 million viewers.

Blast Vegas (Syfy) 9:00 PM ET
Frankie Muniz gets into the Syfy original movie business as a nerd who joins a bunch of fratboys on a Vegas trip, only to unleash an ancient curse. I guess I’ll have to keep waiting for a cheesy movie where Muniz to star in the obvious Syfy parody of Breaking Bad.

Burn Notice (USA) 9:00 PM ET
Michael‘s latest mission calls for an explosives expert and since he’d rather have awkward tension in a mission than work with a stranger, that’s a reason to give Fiona a call.

Burn Notice, "All or Nothing"At least the gang’s back together again.

Big Brother (CBS) 9:00 PM ET
It’s eviction night and Wikipedia tells me Aaryn, Jeremy and Spencer are up for eviction. Will they say goodbye to the woman whose racism has been included in the TV broadcasts or vote out the “I’m just praising Hitler‘s speaking skills.” guy? Decisions decisions.

Degrassi (Teen Nick) 9:00 PM ET
Tonight the Degrassi kids arrive in Paris. There, Tristan finds himself sharing a room with a cute boy and trying not to notice when he changes clothes.

Project RuwnayAny chance we can get future Project Runway judging to be done in period costume?

Project Runway (Lifetime) 9:00 PM ET
Viewers and Tim Gunn have complained for seasons about the judges not knowing some vital workroom detail and making infuriating decisions. Twelve seasons in, Project Runway responds to that frustration by having Gunn report on the workroom dynamics. Perhaps this will make the team challenges less infuriating?

Wedding Island (TLC) 10:00 PM ET
TLC’s Wedding Island is a reality show that follows, Sandy Malone, a wedding planner who works in the Caribbean. This week, she helps a gay couple, Dwayne and Rodney plan their special day. I’ll try not to spend the episode wondering about the kind of rights a same-sex couple can hope to gain by getting married in the Caribbean.

Hollywood Game Night (NBC) 10:00 PM ET
This week Jane Lynch is joined by her Glee co-star Matthew Morrison as well as Valerie Bertineli, Rob Riggle, Cheryl Hines, Sarah Chalke and Yvette Nicole Brown.

Wilfred (FX) 10:00 PM ET
Ryan and Wilfred try to find a nice gift for Jenna‘s birthday. I hope that means this episode is more about debating whether Jenna would appreciate a chewy, rubber copy of The Daily Bark than Ryan not having the nerve to admit his feelings to Jenna again.

Watch What Happens Live (Bravo) 11:00 PM ET
Tonight’s the night Andy gets to talk to someone other than reality TV stars as Susan Lucci and Wanda Sykes visit.

What will you be watching tonight? Please share in the comments!
