Watch RuPaul’s Drag Race: Episode 12, Season 5: The Final Three, Hunty

The top 3 queens go to court, as Judge Ru presents their final challenge – starring in the music video for RuPaul‘s hit “The Beginning.”

Wait a minute! You mean this isn’t the final episode? Who expected that to happen?

Actually, we’ll have two more episodes to go. Next week is the Greatest Hits and Deleted Scenes, and the Queen will be crowned in two weeks, after social media has a chance to help decide the winner.

Sorry, Roxxxy.

This week was presented in three segments. In the first, the girls had to film a music video for Ru while presenting their best “Hairography.” Roxxxy was awarded the win.

Next, they had to perform courtroom scenes as three different characters. Naturally, Jinkx excelled, bringing some hot, doddering Sally Jesse realness.

Finally, after some coaching from Gloria Allred, they have to plea their case for the final time in front of the judges. Alaska threw caution to the wind, and gave a spirited defense.

So … we’re really back to where we started. I have a feeling this is going to come down to Jinkx and Alaska. Who do you want to see take the crown?

The race gets sticky and sweet, when the queens compete in a pageant of candy inspired couture.

In addition to the candy couture, the Queens have to create two other looks: A sweet 16 look, and a sugar momma executive look. But things start off with the mini-challenge, in which they have to create a puppet of a fellow queen, and the reading is by turns funny, and in one case, vicious.

In this episode (and especially on Untucked) we got to see Roxxxy Andrews as petty, cruel, and most tellingly … insecure. Her constant berating of Jinkx hit its apex this week, and she sadly brought Detox down to her level.

That being said, this was not the best week for Jinkx in the competition, and she deserved to be in the bottom two, where she battled it out with Detox.

Fortunately for Jinkx, they have to lip-synch to the weird and fabulous Yma Sumac, which is a perfect fit. Detox is sent home, which is sad, but on the bright side, it leads to this:

So the final three is set, with Alaska, Roxxxy, and Jinkx competing to be America’s Next Drag Superstar. Who’s your pick?
